I had my BEST ride so far with an average speed of 21km/hrs. I was made to bike in the rain. We had our first hosts along the route as Zillah CRC had a snack and drink meet and greet about half way along our ride.
Finally we reached camp in Sunnyside early in the afternoon so after pitching the tent( the weather had cleared and it was sunny and warm to dry our stuff.
The local CRC welcomed us with a terrific Mexican spread by the church in Sunnyside. Being July 4th, there were also fireworks to close the evening.
Opa Ralph celebrated his 67th birthday surrounded with singing and warm wishes.ng
I have been going to bed late as I have been trying to help others with computers and stuff, things I know about, pretty much anything that requires creative survival other than cycling.

Gayle, I've been enjoying your blog. Please help Len, my brother-in-law, with his computer. If he doesn't get his blog going, I'll be depending on you for tour details. Regardless, I'll still be reading your blog. ☺
It's neat-all the varied personalities on this tour-yet,
all biking for an awesome purpose.
Hey Gayle -- Thanks for filling in the missing days. We were a bit anxious about the lack of blogging, although we eventually gathered that there were internet access problems etc. Hopefully the problems are history as we have, admittedly, fallen headlong into the adventures-with-gayle-vortex (keep your eye out for the worried white rabbit with the timepiece).
Take care and get your beauty rest like a good princess.
