Well...today it happened. I went to the official SeaToSea site and checked the registered cyclists list and there I am. Oh my! Talk about bringing out my commitment issues. (you can check it out too at www.seatosea.org.)
I don't recognise anyone else on the list. But today I will start praying for them, asking for God's guidance and grace over the next year. That they may find the support and encouragement that has surrounded me and that when we travel together, we will no longer just be names on a list but friends.
None of us are strangers, we all met a long time ago at the foot of the cross.

I don't know any of them also. But I do recognize a few names, probably from the last sea-to-sea. Alida van Dijk is from my parents church in St.Catharines, and she did the trip last time.
