This SUCKS....
OK...second day in a row with bad training runs. What was I thinking!?!?!? I just can't seem to get my gearing right, my cadence is pathetic, both days were really slow(more than an hour),today I barely could make it through the rolling hills on Springbank Dr., the wind was always in my face( how does that happen when you are doing a loop?), the geese in the park were especially obnoxious and I think I swallowed enough dandelion fluff to count as one of my daily servings of vegetables under the Canada Food Guide. Have I plateaued already? Am I just becoming complacent after a really good start? Is this as good as it gets? Is this as much as I can expect from my body? What if I'm one of those cyclists that Heather(support worker on the last Sea To Sea) had to go pick up at end of day because they couldn't complete the day's ride? What am I doing wrong? This can't just be about the bike.

Hang in there, it will get better - it's only been a short while!! Two lousy days does not a failure make!
Heather
Heather was telling me about exercise a while ago. (My Heather, not the one above) She was reading about people who seem to plateau in starting an exercise regimen -- going nowhere for seemingly weeks. The reality is that your body is busy building lots of blood vessels to handle this workload, and when it is ready, they will connect in to your system, and you'll see a boost.
(Ahh, what a brilliant woman, Heather found it and we're copying it to stick in your mail slot at church.)
Joshua 1:9 baby!
...art
It does take time fersure to build up both strength and stamina. I actually have abunch of stuff that you might be interested in reading in regard to exercise.
If you are interested let me know.
Fight the good fight. It gets better.
